LUNATHICA – Festival Internazionale di Teatro di Strada (24th Edition) invites artists and performers to submit their applications for the COMPAGNIE DI PASSAGGIO-OFF SECTION. Selected artists will have the opportunity to perform on, and will be guaranteed a minimum fee, meals, accommodation, and the possibility of collecting donations by the audience.
INTRODUCTION
Lunathica has an IN Section of performances that have been seen and selected by the artistic direction. However, from 2024 the festival opened a new section dedicated to passing artists and companies who, due to geographic proximity, logistical reasons related to their tour, or any other reason they deem appropriate, would like to “stop by” at the festival.

DATES, LOCATIONS, AND PERFORMANCE TIMES
- The days available for Compagnie di Passaggio are on July 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2026. When registering, the Artist/Company must specify their preferred days to stay at the festival. The selected company must guarantee at least two days at the festival.
- The organization will assign one or more locations to the artist/company based on the performance’s needs and the programming schedule. In no case will it be possible for the artists to change their location without the approval of the organization.
- The performance times will be established in advance, depending on the type of performance and the number of agreed-upon shows. The company will be responsible for adhering to the agreed time.
- Any changes to the schedule (e.g., additional performances, time changes) must be agreed upon in advance.
ECONOMIC CONDITIONS
The selected artist/company must guarantee at least two days at the festival. In the case of cancellation due to weather conditions or force majeure, the fee, meals, and accommodation will be guaranteed. Artists are allowed to collect donations by the audience.
Expected compensation:
- For a single artist or duo:
A fee of € 250,00 for a minimum of two days. - For groups of 3 or more artists:
A fee of € 500,00 for a minimum of two days.
MEALS, ACCOMMODATION, AND TRAVEL
- Meal vouchers for each performance day.
- Accommodation will be provided by the organization at local hotels and/or B&Bs.
- The festival will NOT cover travel expenses. Artists must be independent in their transfers to/from the festival and hotel/B&B.
MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL/LOGISTICAL SUPPORT
- The company must be technically self-sufficient.
- The organization will provide a 220V electrical connection.
- Any additional technical requirements must be agreed upon in advance with the organization.
SELECTION
The organization will select participants based on the materials received and will communicate the list of selected artists by January 28th, 2026.
